I aim to specifically target those thoughts, feelings, communications, and behaviors that my clients have learned to suppress or amplify early attachment experiences.

Here I look to focus on relieving a clients stresses and anxieties by targeting their current problems, relationships and other life issues one might be facing.

Culturally Sensitive

I am very sensitive to my clients’ background and their belief system as it relates to ones race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and other important elements.

Christian Counseling

As a Christian myself, I am able to provide clients with a different understanding of scriptural knowledge and a Christ-centered perspective if they so choose.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive-Behavioral therapy helps my clients to gain a new perspective on their ways of thinking, unhelpful behavior, and coping mechanisms that can be improved.

Mindfulness-Based (MBCT)

By utilizing this type of therapy, I help my clients to become more self-aware and practice things like breathing exercises and meditation to work on ones mental health.

Do you take insurance, and how does that work?

I accept a variety of insurances, but if you don't have insurance I offer a sliding fee scale which best meets your needs. The insurances I accept are listed below.

Does what we talk about in therapy remain confidential?

Yes, it's very important for your information to be protected. We will sign a confidentiality agreement, which outlines the way communication will be shared. I am obligated by law to report when you are a threat to yourself or others.

Do you prescribe medication?

No, but if medication is needed, resources can and will be provided.
